This is the de facto SEC West Championship game. The winner will have a one-game lead and own the tiebreaker with three games left in the conference schedule. Alabama leads the all-time series 6-2 and has a 3-1 edge in the SEC.

The Crimson Tide has continued to dominate the college football landscape. They are sixth in the nation in scoring at 45.4 Points Per Game and seventh in points allowed at 15.0 PPG.

Alabama Offensive Coordinator and former Tennesse and USC Head Coach Lane Kiffin has brought the Tide offense into the modern age. ‘Bama still relies more on the run, but the passing game has almost an equal balance.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts has led Alabama’s version of the new age offense. Hurts has thrown for 1,385 yards with nine touchdowns and three interceptions and has run for another 428 yards and eight touchdowns.

Damien Harris is the latest Alabama star running back. He has rushed for 572 yards and eight touchdowns and also has one receiving touchdown. Five players have over 170 rushing this season.

Calvin Ridley and Ardarius Stewart have been Hurts’ favorite receivers. Ridley has 39-447-4 and Stewart 26-379-3.

The defense is led by Ryan Anderson who has 8.5 Tackles for loss 4.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery. The Tide defense has seven interceptions and seven fumble recoveries through seven games.

The Aggies will be able to Challenge Alabama on both sides of the ball. They are 15th nationally at 40.2 PPG and 26th allowing 19.2 per game.

Former Oklahoma Quarterback Trevor Knight leads the Kevin Sumlin offense. Knight has thrown for 1,500 yards with nine touchdowns and five interceptions while running for 502 yards and nine touchdowns.

Sumlin’s potent offense has plenty of talent to complement Knight. Trayveon Williams has run for 704 yards and eight touchdowns. Receivers Christian Kirk (40-352-4) and Josh Reynolds (25-488-4) have been Knight’s primary targets through the air.

The A&M defense is led by Daeshon Hall who has nine tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks and two fumble recoveries and Justin Evans who has three interceptions and six passes defended.
