The Tigers have won both games in the Ed Orgeron era. Oregon took over for Les Miles after the Tigers scored what appeared to be the game-winning touchdowns against Auburn was overturned.

The two wins under Orgeron put the Tigers back in the top 25. Orgeron’s was Mississippi’s Head Coach from 2004-06, going 10-25. He has an 8-2 record as the interim coach at USC and now LSU.

The Tigers were the fifth-ranked team in the country to start the season and their 2-2 start did Miles in.

Any LSU success offensively is going to come on the ground. Derrius Guidice has run for 564 yards and six touchdowns. He has been the horse under Orgeron with Leonard Fornette out the last three games.

Guidice has 325 yards and five touchdowns in the last two games. He and Fornette are going to be a formidable duo for the Tigers. Fornette has 386 yards and two touchdowns this season.

Arden Key leads the LSU defense with seven sacks.

Chad Kelly is in his second year leading the Rebels offense. He has thrown for 1,846 yards, 14 touchdowns, and six interceptions and run for 218 yards and three touchdowns.

Akeem Judd (34-3)  and Eugene Brazely (201-2) complement Kelly on the ground and Evan Engram (37-590-5) has been their best receiver.
