Miami Hurricanes at Notre Dame: Live Streaming and Game Info
The Miami Hurricanes head to South Bend, Indiana hoping to end a three-game losing streak. They face a reeling 2-5 Notre Dame Fighting Irish team that has lost two in a row and four out of five.
The Hurricanes are making their first trip to South Bend since 1990. This is only the third meeting between Miami and Notre Dame since then and just their second regular season matchup in the same time span.
Notre Dame leads the all-time series 17-7-1. Notre Dame won the first nine meetings between 1955-78. Among those was a 40-15 win in 1979 in Tokyo that was in a game that was dubbed the “Mirage Bowl”. The game was named after the Mitsubishi car, but the name of the game was appropriate as it was just a regular season game that was moved to Japan.

Notre Dame has won the last three meetings with Miami dating to a 29-20 win in 1990. That would be the last time Notre Dame and Miami played for 20 years. The Fighting Irish have dominated the last two meetings, winning by a combined 74-20.
Miami and Notre Dame’s first meeting in 20 years came in the 2010 Sun Bowl. The Fighting Irish won 33-17 in El Paso, Texas. They next met at Solider Field in Chicago as part of Notre Dame’s Shamrock Series in 2012, a 41-3 Irish victory.
That season was part of a 12-0 ND regular season. Alabama ended Notre Dame’s undefeated season with a 42-14 win in the then BCS National Championship game.
