3. David Njoku flips his way into the endzone to give the Hurricanes a 7-0 lead versus Pittsburgh.

Njoku showed off his improbable athleticism for a tight end when he took a screen pass from Kaaya at the Pitt 14 yard line, ran across the field to the left sideline and leapt over one of his teammates and a Panther defender into the end zone to give Miami a 7-0 lead. Njoku showed off his prowess as a national high jump champ in high school.

Njoku is one of the most athletically gifted offensive players coming out of Miami in a few years. He teamed with Coley to give Kaaya a strong target in the Red Zone.

Njoku finished the 2016 season second to Coley with eight touchdown receptions and third behind Coley and Richards with 43 receptions and 698 yards receiving.

Njoku decided to forego his final two seasons of college eligibility to enter the NFL Draft. He will be the latest in a long line of Tight Ends that have had successful careers in the NFL from the U.

NFLDraft.Net projects Njoku as the second tight end taken. CBSSports.Com ranks him as the sixth best Tight  End overall and expects him to be picked in the second or third round.
