The Miami Hurricanes win at Virginia was arguably their biggest win of the season. Their win over North Carolina came at the Watsco Center and the NCAA Tournament committee scrutinizes how a team performs away from home.

The game also produced a lot of fodder throughout social media. Twiter, Facebook and videos were buzzing during, and after the game about the Hurricanes performance.

Was Virginia’s Isaiah Wilkins fouled with four seconds remaining in regulation? Was Davon Reed’s shot at the regulation buzzer good? Jim Larranaga’s dance moves, where does this put the Hurricanes and Cavaliers in the NCAA Tournament and why are the Cavaliers mired in a four game losing streak?

The interest here is in the buzz around Miami’s performance and the buzz the game created. The @CanesHoops twitter handle also had fun with the pace of play or lack there of in the first half. Here is a look at some of the social media buzz created last night and today.

Miami’s 20-19 halftime lead over the Virginia on Monday were team lows both for and against for the Hurricanes and Cavaliers this season. @Caneshoops is the official Twitter feed for Miami basketball. They went old school playground at halftime asking how the outcome of the game should be decided.
