Miami Hurricanes commits assume role of Ambassador

An ambassador is defined as “an accredited diplomat sent by a country as its official representative.” The Miami Hurricanes have found recent success on the recruiting trail aided by impromptu motivated spokesmen, their own unofficial recruits.

Since the Mark Richt Era began, a progressive underground movement seemed to swell among the ranks. Committed recruits have become more noticeably vocal about their pledges and wanted others to join them.

Recent Miami Junior day intertwined various recruits from different classes and the Miami brand has become infectious.

Whereas commits encouraging other perspective Hurricane recruits isn’t new, the recent decibel level has been deafening. The positive buzz around the program has reached a harmonic and synergistic tone.

This fever pitch was definitely not there during the Al Golden era. It simply didn’t exist. Nor was a class loaded with so much talent so early like the 2018 class has materialized.

Deejay Dallas was unequivocally the unadulterated Hurricane mouth piece for the 2017 class. Dallas, a Georgia native, paraded the Hurricane brand proudly down Calle Ocho with orange and green pom poms. Now enrolled at the University of Miami, Dallas ceremoniously passed his ambassador torch.

As each stellar and potentially top ten class continues to build on itself, Mark Richt will do less recruiting of the players and the players will be recruiting Miami.
