The Miami Hurricanes 2017 football schedule features games against traditional rivals, annual games against ACC Coastal Divisional opponents, an ACC crossover game and non-conference games against teams they do not usually play.

Miami’s crossover game against an ACC Atlantic Division team other than Florida State is against Syracuse this season. In their non-conference they host Bethune-Cookman and Toledo and travel to Arkansas State.

The game against Syracuse replaces North Carolina State. All three true non-conference games are new this season as well. Miami defeated Florida A&M, Florida International and Appalachian State in the non-conference in 2016, while losing at Notre Dame.

The Hurricanes lost in South Bend to the Fighting Irish last season in the teams first meeting on campus since 1990. Miami and Notre Dame had met twice since then. They played after the 2010 season in the Sun Bowl and met two years later at Soldier Field in Chicago.

The Hurricanes will be playing Bethune-Cookman for the fourth time in 2017. Miami has won those meetings by an average of 42.6 to eight. The Hurricanes open the season with the Wildcats on September 2 at Hard Rock Stadium.

Miami won their only previous meeting with Toledo and swept their two meetings with Arkansas State.
