Danny Isidora OG Minnesota Vikings 5th Round 180th Overall

Isidora was the leader of Miami’s offensive line in 2016. He was a three-year starter and earned All-ACC in 2016. Isidora became a cornerstone of the Miami offensive line after redshirting his first season in Coral Gables and missing the first ten games of his redshirt Freshman season with a foot injury.

Isidora went on to start 39 consecutive games at right guard after that. The Vikings selected him with one of two picks they obtained from the Chiefs after moving out of the fourth round.

Isidora is the first guard drafted by the Vikings since 2014. Their current starters at Guard are Willie Beavers who the Vikings drafted in 2016 at tackle and then converted him to guard and veteran Alex Boone at the other guard spot.

When discussing his game Isidora told Vikings.Com:

"“I think I’m a physical player, I think I’m fast, I think I understand the game,” Isidora said. “I like run blocking, and I like pass, too. I think I do a good job at both of them.”"

The biggest concern about Isidora in his scouting report focus on him being overpowered by players in a bull rush. His strength is his athleticism and ability to pull in the run game.
