Duane Starks CB 1998 NFL Draft Selected 10th by Baltimore

Starks was a two-year starter and star punt returner at the U. In his final two seasons with the Hurricanes, he had six interceptions for 139 yards in returns with one touchdown and averaged 11.8 yards per punt return with one touchdown.

He was the tenth pick in the 1998 Draft by the Baltimore Ravens where he joined Lewis as part of a legendary defense. Starks started eight games in his rookie season. He finished with five interceptions and two forced fumbles.

Starks tacked on five more interceptions his second season while starting five games. He became a full-time starter during his third season in which the Ravens won the Super Bowl over the New York Giants.

Starks had a career-high six interceptions for 125 return yards during the 2000 season. He played his final season in Baltimore in 2001. He next spent three seasons in Arizona missing the 2003 season with a knee injury.

Starks moved on to New England in 2005 and Oakland in 2006. He was released three games into the 2007 season by the Raiders and did not play in the NFL again.

Starks finished his NFL career with 25 interceptions, two of which he returned for touchdowns and 347 total tackles.
