Jones averaged a career-high 16.9 PPG and led the team in rebounding, three-point shooting, steals and blocks as a Senior. He was second to Rice in scoring.

Jones is fourth in Miami history in blocked shots, third in consecutive games started with 89, tenth in total games played with 122, and ninth in minutes played.

His NBA longevity is even more remarkable when you consider that he isn’t in the Hurricanes career top ten in more traditional categories.

He is a 14 year NBA veteran that some of the younger players like Kyrie Irving and Tristan Thompson can go to. He also frequently speaks to the press about his team.

Jones said about his teammates:

"I believe in this group,” Jones said. “I told them I don’t believe in a lot, but I believe in this group, and so, if you ask me, there’s no one else I would rather face this task with than this group of guys. “These are my brothers. This team is a true team. We go up together. We go down together, but at the end of the day, we always come out of it together, and that’s what we expect going into this next round.”"
