The College Football News has released some of their projections for the 2017 season. CFN has the Miami Hurricanes ranked 11th in the Nation and projects them to play in the Camping World Bowl.

The Miami Hurricanes slots in the top 25 have been anywhere from CFN’s ranking them 11 to as high as 23. Despite the high ranking, the Hurricanes are slotted to go back to the Camping World Bowl.

CFN has the Hurricanes matching up with Texas Christian in the game scheduled to be played in Orlando on December 28. Miami would slot into the game as a result of their standing as the third-best team in the ACC.

Clemson is predicted to go to the Orange Bowl to face Ohio State. Florida State is projected to go to the Rose Bowl to face Washington in the College Football playoff.

Many Miami fans were upset with other media outlets projections that the Hurricanes would place in the Sun Bowl. One went as far as to suggest the season would be a failure if that happens.

Under the current state of college football teams are slotted into bowl games based on the conference they are in. Fans need to look at the bigger picture and focus on their own team and not the bowl a team appears in.
