Which Miami Hurricanes Games Are Most Likely to Be Hosted by ESPN Gameday?

Gameday began hosting from venue sites in the 1994 season. They traveled to Miami for the Florida State game that October.

The Gameday crew would travel to South Florida three more times in between 1994 and 2001 for regular season Miami games. The Hurricanes are 5-0 when the Gameday crew visits Miami for a ‘Canes home game.

The Hurricanes are 6-4 all-time in gameday road games. They had a six-game winning streak in between losing the first two and last two. The Hurricanes went 1-1 in neutral site games in National Championship games after the 2001 and 2002 seasons.

There are several games on this year’s schedule that could bring the Gameday crew to where the Hurricanes are. The game at Florida State week three is the first game on Miami’s schedule this season that could bring the Gameday crew.

A lot could depend on how Florida State does week one against Alabama in Atlanta. If the Seminoles win that game it would almost be a certainty that the Gameday crew would go to Tallahassee.

There are two other games that Gameday is likely to consider that week. The ACC has another marquee game the same day when Clemson travels to Louisville. Florida and Tennesse will also play in a big SEC East game a well.
