The primary questions from the media to Miami Hurricanes Head Coach Mark Richt at ACC Kickoff Days revolved around the quarterback situation. Three different questions came from the media about who Miami’s quarterback will be on September 2.

Replacing a quarterback is a given in college football. Most schools have to replace a quarterback every couple of years. At minimum teams have to do it every four years. Mark Richt discussed the Miami quarterback battle frequently at ACC Kickoff days.

Getting a quarterback that starts for three to four seasons is a blessing most college football coaches and programs would love to have. In Richt and Miami’s case, this year is a pivotal one as they replace the school’s all-time leading passer Brad Kaaya.

Miami is Coming off a 9-4 season and their first bowl victory in ten seasons, Richt looks to continue to restore the swagger at the U. Miami had a very good season for his first coaching his alma mater.

Richt gave an opening statement to the ACC Kickoff media before giving way to running back Mark Walton and linebacker Shaq Quarterman. Richt got his chance after the media spoke to Quarterman and Walton.

The media didn’t waste any time asking the question that’s number one on everyone’s mind relating to Miami. Replacing Brad Kaaya is going to be the biggest question for Miami heading into the fall.
