After the dust settled on the Miami Hurricanes Paraside camp event, I looked at some behind the scenes observations are still fresh in my mind. Analysis on some in camp quarterbacks and Miami’s on campus ones.

The Miami Hurricanes recent Paradise Camp was a chance to look at some talented prospects while basking in the glory of former Cane Greats. Multiple Miami Hurricanes alums returned to campus to instruct current and future Miami football players.

Freshman Quarterback N’kosi Perry is pretty tall. I stand in at a solid 6’3″, (I think) you can easily grasp that Perry has the frame for success. Perry would have zero issues looking over the line and is not so constraint on manufacturing throwing lanes like Malik Rosier.

Perry also has an aura about him. Not your typical freshman. He carried himself extremely professionally and had this confident comfort-ability about him. It is easy to dissect on the field play from quarterbacks but equally important is how do teammates respond to them.

It does not take long to figure out that Perry has respect from teammates and interacts seamlessly with veterans. That is huge. Winning a locker room is solidified on the field but it is predicated on character consistency off the field.
