Reggie Wayne WR Eligible in 2020

Reggie Wayne is one of the steadiest receivers in Miami history. He started All-Four of his seasons at the U. Wayne and Santana Moss formed one of the most feared Miami receiving duos in school history.

Wayne caught 48 passes for 640 yards and two touchdowns as a Freshman in 1997. He was in the top ten in the Big East in receptions all four of his years at Miami and finished 13th in conference history in receptions.

Wayne is second all-time only to Moss in receiving yards in Miami school history. Moss had just 37 more yards than Wayne. Wayne’s 173 receptions in his four seasons are the most in Miami program history. His 20 touchdowns put him in a three-way tie for fourth with Stacy Coley and former Miami teammate Andre Johnson.

Wayne was the 30th pick of the first round by the Indianapolis Colts in the 2001 NFL Draft. He had 27 receptions for 345 yards in 13 games with nine starts in his rookie season. He improved to 49 for 716 and four touchdowns in his second season.

By year three Wayne asserted himself as a steady, elite NFL receiver. He finished the 2003 season with 68 receptions for 838 yards and eight touchdowns.
