Andre Johnson WR  Eligible 2021

Johnson got his chance to perform when Moss and Wayne graduated after the 2000 season. After only three catches for 57 yards and touchdown in 2000, he led the 2001 National Championship Miami Hurricanes in receiving yards and touchdowns. He was second, only three receptions behind Jeremy Shockey for the most catches.

In the BCS championship game in the Rose Bowl against Nebraska, Johnson was nearly unstoppable. Johnson scorched the Cornhuskers for seven receptions for 199 yards and two touchdowns. He and quarterback Ken Dorsey shared the MVP in the Hurricanes 37-14 victory.

Johnson improved upon his 2001 stats in his Junior season. Miami went undefeated for a second consecutive regular season. He had a career-high with 52 receptions, 1,092 yards and nine touchdowns.

Miami was one blatantly awful call away from capturing a second consecutive undefeated season and National Championship. Johnson turned pro following the season and was the third pick of the 2003 NFL Draft by the Houston Texans.

Johnson was a major contributor as a rookie. He led the Texans in receptions, yards and tied for the lead in touchdowns. He finished the 2003 season with 66 receptions for 976 yards and four touchdowns.
