Cade Weldon

The son of 1991 Heisman Trophy runner-up, Casey Weldon, Cade is a talented QB in his own right.

He is built more solidly than Perry at 6-3, 221. Weldon is a mobile threat at QB. He is a true dual-threat QB.

Weldon slipped through the recruiting cracks a bit.  He tore the ACL and MCL in his right knee during the first game of his Junior year.

Weldon was an early enrollee. He took part in spring practice and showed he belonged here. Weldon played against rugged competition at Tampa Jefferson High School. He will be a factor in the future. Expect Weldon to redshirt this season and play on the scout team.

Running Back

Robert Burns

Burns was a highly regarded recruit who chose the Hurricanes over Alabama and Florida State. Injuries derailed his high school career.
