Miami Hurricanes Expectations from True Freshmen Offensively
Burns is a versatile RB. He has the size and speed to gain tough yards and hit the home run. Burns has already sustained a shoulder injury during his time on campus. He is now recovered and ready to appear in game action.
Expect him to quickly win the number three running job. He could potentially push Travis Homer for the second on the depth chart.
This is a player being overlooked due to a label of being injury prone. When he does get onto the football field, he is immensely talented.
Burns was rated the number 28 overall RB in the country by 247 in the Class of 2017. When Burns gets on the field he will show that ranking is too low.
Wide Receiver
Mike Harley- It is well-known that Richt prefers wide receivers with size and length. His WRs at Georgia averaged 6-2, 184 pounds when entering the program.
Harley had to wait quite a while to receive an offer from the Miami Hurricanes because of his lack of size. The 5-9, 160 pound Harley has proven to be worth the risk.
He has already ascended to the top of the Miami Hurricanes week one depth chart, replacing the injured Ahmonn Richards. Rivals.Com’s recruiting analyst Rob Cassidy referred to Harley “as sudden a receiver as there is in this class.”
