Harley has proven to inject an element of speed to the Miami Hurricanes offense. He fits what they do perfectly. Harley has the ability to work intermediate routes until a cornerback creeps up, then go deep for a big play.

Rated number 307 nationally, Canes coaches did a good job getting Harley to flip from his West Virginia commitment.

Jeff Thomas

The most dynamic recruit Miami brings in to this season is Jeff Thomas. Thomas played in high school at legendary East St. Louis. Kellen Winslow Sr. is one of the players the Flyers have produced.

Another undersized dynamo, Thomas is the Hurricanes highest rated recruit at number 40 overall nationally.

The 5-10, 175-pound playmaker is lightning with the ball in his hands.  He brings legitimate 4.38 speed to the offense. Thomas was named the fastest receiver at the Opening Combine in 2016 and then MVP of the Under Armour All-America game.

Thomas needs to improve his route running.  He will help immediately from the slot on bubble screens and jet sweeps. Paired with Harley, a Miami receiving group that Richt stated needed an infusion of speed, has received just that.

Evidence Njoku

Njoku lands on Miami’s campus with name recognition. He is out to make his own way on the college football landscape.
