With minds on Hurricane Irma this weekend it might be hard to concentrate on football. For those that need a distraction, there are a few games that should be of interest to Miami Hurricanes fans.

Hurricane Irma bearing down on Florida has canceled the games for the five biggest FBS schools in the state. With that in mind, there are still some games that bear watching that might hold interest for Miami Hurricanes fans on Saturday.

There are several key games involving ACC teams on Saturday and one involving a 2017 Miami Hurricanes future opponent.

The day kicks off with a key ACC divisional crossover game. Louisville travels to Chapel Hill to face North Carolina, for a Noon kickoff. That game should be wrapping up around the time Pittsburgh and Penn State should be ready to kick off in Happy Valley at 3:30 PM ET.

The game of the day involving an ACC team is Clemson hosting Auburn at 7:00 PM on ESPN. Clemson moved up to third in the rankings following last weeks loss by Florida State to Alabama. Auburn is currently ranked 11th.

Number 15 Georgia and Number 24 Notre Dame will kick off in South Bend a half hour after Clemson and Auburn on NBC. Notre Dame moved into the rankings this week after being unranked in the preseason.

Notre Dame is trying to bounce back from a four win season in 2016. They thumped Temple 49-16 in the season opener. Georgia enters the game ranked 15th.

The final game is a toss up between Toledo at Nevada and Northwestern at Duke. The Miami Hurricanes play the Rockets in two weeks and Blue Devils in three weeks. Ironically, Northwestern earned a hard fought victory over Nevada in Evanston, Illinois last weekend.
