13 Auburn at 3 Clemson 7:00 PM ET ESPN

Auburn and Clemson is the second highest rated game between two ranked teams on Saturday. The game will be a measuring stick for the SEC’s Tigers. Clemson and Auburn have both measured themselves against Alabama the last two seasons.

Clemson split the last two National Championship games against the Crimson Tide. Auburn’s battles with their long time in-state rival have been well documented.

Clemson opened their defense of 2016 National Championship with a 56-3 victory over Kent State. It was a thorough demolition.

The Tigers rolled up 678 yards to the Golden Flashes 120. Clemson had a 34 to five advantage in first downs.

Quarterback Kelly Bryant played well in his first game replacing Deshawn Watson. Bryant was 16-22 for 236 yards, one touchdown, and one interception.

The rest of the wealth was spread out in the Clemson offense. No one had more than eight carries or three receptions.

Auburn defeated Georgia Southern 41-7 in its season opener. Auburn quarterback Jarret Stidham is being heralded as one of the best transfers in the country this season. He went 14-24 for 185 yards two touchdowns and an interception in the opener.

Kerryon Johnson and Kam Martin both ran for 136 yards and a touchdown in the victory. Auburn racked up 535 yards of total offense to the Eagles 78. Auburn ran for 353 yards on 53 carries, nearly seven yards per carry.

They are going to have to improve their passing game against Clemson.
