Miami Hurricanes Continue to be Trolled By Arkansas Media

"Fires also proposed that “Miami got Saturday off to prepare for Florida State, and Arkansas State turns its attention to this week’s home game against Arkansas-Pine Bluff. That’s a double dose of Debbie Downer if you’re an ASU supporter.”"

This was written Saturday, probably not long before the ACC made the decision to postpone Miami’s game with Florida State. Neither Miami nor Florida State will be in classes all week. Many players from UM evacuated to Orlando and other places. There is no time table on when they will get back to campus.


Miami’s last day of practice last week was on Tuesday according to Head Coach Mark Richt. For Fires to expect the Hurricanes to play a game without being able to practice and more importantly with a deadly storm approaching is selfish and without compassion.

Thankfully ACC Commissioner John Swofford used far more logic in the conference’s decision to shuffle the Hurricanes and Seminoles schedule. The majority of the complaining seems to be coming out of Jonesboro. The opponents of FSU, UF, UCF and USF have been quiet. Would the Red

Would the Red Wolves fan base be as loud if the game would have been scheduled for Hard Rock Stadium? Hopefully, they can move on and focus on the rest of their season. For the next week, South Florida has a massive cleanup effort to focus on. Everyone would rather be focusing on football.
