How did Miami Hurricanes Handle Time in Orlando?
FIU moved their game from Miami to Birmingham, Alabama. FAU was playing at Wisconsin. They stayed in Madison later than their original plan. The Golden Panthers eventually canceled their game at home the following week.
Miami had to stay in Orlando through this past Thursday. The campus will not completely reopen until Monday, September 25.

After meeting with officials from Florida Citrus Sports, the Hurricanes decided to hold their practices at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. They also got rooms at another hotel for the entire team.
Per Adelson equipment managers returned to the Miami campus:
"“To pack up everything needed for practice, working without air-conditioning and mostly in the dark to find helmets, shoulder pads and cleats."
Central Florida which is located in Orlando, allowed Miami to use its laundry facilities. After nine days of not being together, the remaining Miami players bused up to Orlando the Friday after Irma made landfall.
