"“Malik for the most part played well. He did some really outstanding things. The flag route that Berrios caught that was almost a touchdown and then we get on the one yard line and don’t score. But that play was a fantastic read on the coverage. They brought the house, it was a zero coverage blitz, they’re bringing more than we can block. They disguised it well, brought it late, last second he realized what happened and he went to the right guy with the ball. He threw a beautiful strike with someone baring down on him.”"

Marching down the field to score on the first drive was important. It made a statement. Rosier hit Braxton Berrios over the middle just under the goal post in the back of the end zone to get on the board first. Rosier impressed his coach with his reads and the way he threw the ball.

"“I think our tackle was stumbling and we didn’t protect well, but Malik hit his points, he set up in the pocket and he threw a strike for that touchdown. The touchdown to Ahmmon [Richards] on that crossing route, he stood in there on a blitz as well. I thought he showed a lot to me. He made some nice runs.”"
