The streak is over!!! The Miami Hurricanes finally ended seven years of misery against Florida State. The Hurricanes earned a heart-stopping 24-20 victory over the Seminoles on Saturday. Head Coach Mark Richt said its the most fun he has ever had in football.

The Miami Hurricanes earned the victory with a Malik Rosier to Darrell Langham 23-yard touchdown pass with six seconds remaining in the game. All Miami had to do was tackle the Florida State kickoff return to taste victory for the first time in eight years over their rivals.

After the game, Miami Hurricanes Head Coach Mark Richt discussed the celebration after the game, what is meant to win at Doak Campbell Stadium, on missing key players including Ahmmon Richards and Mark Walton on the last drive and what was the difference between making the plays to win this year and losing to Florida State last year.

The win against Florida State not only broke a seven-game overall losing streak to the Seminoles, it ended a three-game losing streak at the Doak. Before that streak, the Hurricanes had won two in a row at home.
