"A couple of them broke out on us, obviously. You could see the effort of our team. When a run breaks out, somebody is going to try to chase him down. Get him on the ground, maybe get a turnover, maybe force a field goal – you just never know. It’s just a tribute to, I think, how we prepared in the offseason and trying to have a physical and mental toughness approach. Coach Gus Felder and the strength staff do an awesome job with that, and all summer long, just trying to create drills that create adversity and trying to overcome it. That’s why you do those things.”"

Rosier did a great job on the last drive taking what the defense gave him. He was able to methodically move the Hurricanes into field goal range by repeatedly using the bubble screen to move the Hurricanes down the field. That eventually set them up in field goal range for Badgley’s game-winner.

"On utilizing more bubble screens on the game’s final drive… “We were running the ball. I called the same plays that we called, actually, against [Florida State] – the two that [Travis] Homer carried. [Florida State] was matching up more man-to-man, but Georgia Tech is more of zone team. They’re more apt to play zone coverage in that situation."
