Miami Hurricanes vs. Syracuse: Live Streaming and Game Info
For the first time since they were both in the Big East in 2003, the Miami Hurricanes and Syracuse Orange will meet in Football. The Hurricanes and Orange will kickoff on Saturday at 3:30 ET at Hard Rock Stadium.
The Miami Hurricanes enter the game 5-0 after consecutive last-second wins over Florida State and Georgia Tech. The Hurricanes were able to overcome significant injuries to win both games. They are healthier heading into the Syracuse game.
Only two starters are expected to be out Saturday. Running Back Mark Walton is out for the season after ankle surgery. Cornerback Dee Delaney is expected to miss his second consecutive game with a knee injury.
Syracuse is 4-3 coming off the biggest win during the Dino Babers era. The Orange defeated then number two Clemson last week 27-24 at the Carrier Dome last Friday. Syracuse’s win left the Hurricanes at the only undefeated team in the ACC.
The game could be high scoring. Both teams average over 30 points and 400 yards per game. The Miami Hurricanes are second in the ACC and Syracuse fifth in total offense.
The Orange passing attack is one of the most prolific in the country. Orange receivers Steve Ishmael and Ervin Phillips lead the ACC in receptions per game. Quarterback Eric Dungey leads the nation’s second most uptempo offense.
For the third consecutive week Miami will kickoff at 3:30 ET. After appearing on ABC last week, the Hurricanes return to ESPN for third time in the last four weeks.

Miami has played only seven programs more than they have played Syracuse. This will be the 23rd meeting between the schools. Amazingly this is their first meeting in the ACC.
The schools had a good rivalry during the late 1990s when Donovan McNabb was the then Orangemen quarterback. They played 12 times as members of the Big East from 1992-2003. Miami won 11 of those. Syracuse won back to back in 1997 and ’98.

The weather could hamper Syracuse. The heat and humidity will be tough for the Orange to adjust to. Mark Richt had mentioned when the Hurricanes played Toledo during the three-week layoff that the heat and humidity bothered Miami. By now the Hurricanes will be more used to it.
