MIAMI GARDENS, FL – OCTOBER 21: Jeff Thomas /

"It’s just like when Jeff [Thomas] caught that deep ball last week. We hit the exact same coverage we were hoping and praying for, we executed it perfectly and you feel like, ‘hallelujah.’ In this one, it was 3rd & short, we had our ‘12’ personnel – two tight ends in. They were getting geared up to stop the run, just playing single man-to-man, no safety deep, nobody deep and the whole football field to throw an inside lane ‘go’ ball, a deep ball, and it just bounces off our hands. I don’t know what happened. I’m thankful we won, our fans were awesome.”"

Thomas made a big play for the second straight game. Thomas added a 48-yard touchdown reception to his 70-yard reception in last week’s victory over Georgia Tech last week. He has four receptions for 139 yards and a touchdown in the last two games.
