Opening Statement…

"“We found another way to make it really exciting. Part of the reason was Syracuse is a really good football team. We’ve seen what they can do, especially last week with Clemson, but everybody that’s played them this year has been just talking about them and how much harder they’re playing now and with a purpose now. Not that they didn’t last year, but they’re a better team from what people say, from a year ago. It’s a tribute to what Coach [Dino] Babers is doing over there."

The Inconsistency and Inability to Play Well on Both Sides of the Ball Simultaneously

"“We, for some reason, can’t find a way to play really good on both sides at the same time – we kind of take turns. It’d be nice to be more consistent. You become consistent offensively when you throw and catch like you should. You become consistent when you can convert third downs a little bit better than we have been. We just have not been very good at all. We’ve just got to continue to work. I think a lot of the times we had opportunities to make plays and didn’t make them. Obviously a couple dropped balls could have been two more touchdowns  in the first half, I think it was pretty evident on that. We have to get better at that. Some of it is ball placement, some of it is just concentration and some of it is good defense."
