On WR Ahmmon Richards and some uncharacteristic drops, and whether injury played a role…
"“When you don’t play a lot, maybe so. I think he was so anxious to score. The one in the end zone, you tell them over and over and over – not him, all your receivers – you have to be so strong with your hands in that type of situation, because you know somebody is going to be right there trying to rake it out. We just got to be stronger with those hands. Sometimes there’s nothing you can do. Sometimes a defender makes a great play. Another one he dropped, I think he knew he was about to score and he just kind of took his eyes off the ball a little bit. We’re not mad at him. We love Ahmmon. He’s a great player.”"
On watching the progress of his team and finding a way to win…
"“We’re resilient. We’re resilient. We won’t quit or panic or feel like all is lost. We made some decisions that weren’t very good. One time we had a defensive substitution where we thought they subbed, they didn’t sub, so we run guys in there, we got guys running off for a penalty, then we get a fumble deep in their territory. What would have happened then, if we would have just been disciplined enough to sub properly? Little things like that will get you beat."
