After three straight wins and the last two weeks at home, the Miami Hurricanes travel to Chapel Hill, NC to face North Carolina on Saturday. Head Coach Mark Richt met with the media on Tuesday to discuss the Tar Heels and other issues.
Among the topics discussed by the Miami Hurricanes Head Coach were naming the captains for Saturday, Michael Irvin II’s status, the possibility of his team overlooking North Carolina, the reason the defense has given up so many rushing yards and a general state of where things are heading into Saturday.
Coming off three games in which they combined to win by a total of 13 points the Miami Hurricanes travel to Chapel Hill as a prohibitive favorite. The expectation is for the Hurricanes to win easily over the injury-riddled 1-7 Tar Heels.
Unlike this time last year, the Hurricanes are winning the close game. Miami suffered through a four-game losing streak in the middle of the season in 2016. They were able to recover and win their last four games to finish 8-4. They topped that off with the Miami Hurricanes first bowl win in ten seasons.
