Senior wide receiver Braxton Berrios acknowledged that the fanbase has been through as much as he and his teammates have been through. They have watched a once-dominant program become mediocre. Berrios spoke about the importance of the fanbase and the energy that they bring to each game.

"“They’ve been through a lot with us throughout the years…They deserve just as much as a lot of people on this team. They’ve been through the bad times and now they’re finally in the good times. They change everything, they really do. That is a huge advantage when Hard Rock gets going like that.”"

The fanbase also got the attention of the Head Hurricane. Mark Richt spent four seasons as a player at the iconic Orange Bowl and has now been the Head Coach for two years at Hard Rock Stadium. He spoke about the crowd noise for the Virginia Tech game during his weekly teleconference on Sunday.

"“It was a great night…Every so often, I’ll take my headsets off to listen how loud it really is. I just want to get a gauge. You can tell it’s really loud when it goes through your mouth mic into your headset…There was no doubt our crowd was on it really from the beginning to the very end. Really, really proud of everybody who came and supported us.”"
