Seeburg was sadly just one in a long line of sexual assaults that were hidden according to a Deadspin story that quoted a Washington Post report.

"Among the things said about Seeburg in smear campaign by Notre Dame was that she was “a troubled girl…(had) done this before…(was) the aggressor )and) all over the boy” (according to a “top university official” at Notre Dame)"

Seeburg was apparently told by told by a friend of Shembo’s:

"“Don’t do anything you would regret. Messing with Notre Dame football is a bad idea.”"

Not surprisingly, Shembo’s attorney Joe Power tried to discredit Seeburg as well.
