Miami Hurricanes Head Coach Mark Richt spoke with reporters earlier this week to discuss Saturday’s game with Virginia and Miami’s win over Notre Dame.

The doubters are now questioning if the Miami Hurricanes will be able to get up for Virginia this Saturday and how they will respond to the cold next week at Pittsburgh.

The focus is on Virginia this week. The Cavaliers still had a chance to be in the race for the ACC Coastal Division title but lost at Louisville last Saturday. That gave Miami the Division title.

They enter Saturday’s game 6-4. One win in their last two games will secure Virginia’s first winning season since 2011. They have already avoided their first losing season since then and first Bowl game since 2011.

Despite the doubters wins the last two weeks against Virginia Tech and Notre Dame have given Miami a lot of national attention and respect. The Hurricanes vaulted from 10th in the College Football Playoff Rankings to third. Richt was asked if his players can handle the success.
