The Miami Hurricanes Seniors have been through a lot in their four to five years playing football at the U. Three Head Coaches, embarrassing losses, deaths of teammates relatives, the welcoming home of a favorite son and the rebirth of the program.

Eleven Seniors will play their final game at Hard Rock Stadium against Virginia. Eight true Seniors and three redshirts will be honored before the game against the Cavaliers. Most of those players have made an impact this season and some throughout their Miami Hurricanes careers.

They have been through a lot. They suffered through the final years of the Golden era, a midseason coaching change, deaths of the relatives of various teammates, roster attrition and had to adjust to a new coaching staff.

Braxton Berrios, Chad Thomas, Christopher Herndon IV, Michael Badgley, Trent Harris, K.C. McDermott, Trevor Darling, Anthony Moten, and redshirt Seniors, Dee Delaney, Malik Mayweather and Diego Marquez.

The eight true Seniors plus Delaney have all had an impact on the Miami Hurricanes success this season. After going 14-12 in their first two seasons in Coral Gables, the Senior class has improved to 9-4 as Juniors and now 9-0 as they approach Senior Day this season.

The addition of Mark Richt as Head Coach steadied the program and got Miami back on the road to respectability and have finally brought the U back.
