Offensive Line- K.C. McDermott and Trevor Darling

McDermott and Darling form the left side of the Miami Offensive line. They have helped pave the way for the ACC’s fourth-highest scoring offense, a rushing offense averaging 179.9 yards per game, a passing offense throwing for 271.4 and 451.3 yards in total offense. The Hurricanes are also fourth in the ACC in scoring.

McDermott has started the last 30 games for Miami. He was a versatile member of the offensive line in 2016. Mc Dermott has started at both tackle spots and left guard during his collegiate career.

Darling is the most experienced offensive lineman on the Hurricanes. He has 36 career starts. After spending most of the previous two seasons at left tackle, he and McDermott switched places this season.

Defensive Tackle- Anthony Moten

Moten backs up star defensive tackle R.J. McIntosh and Kendrick Norton. On a defense that frequently rotates its linemen, Moten gets a lot of snaps. Throughout his career, Moten has 33 tackles, three and a half tackles for loss and one and a half sacks.

At 6’4 315, Moten is a big body inside who helps occupy opposing offensive lines. He has helped the Hurricanes become one of the most feared defensive lines in the country.
