Miami Hurricanes 2017 Seniors going out on high note
Cornerback- Dee Delaney
In his only season in Miami Delaney has struggled with injuries. Before that, he was among the Miami leaders in tackles. In five games this season, Delaney has 24 tackles, one tackle for loss, an interception, and one pass defended.
Wide receiver- Malik Mayweather
Mayweather was a top-five player in Mississippi during his high school career. He has played in five career games without recording a reception. The only game he has played in this year was the opener against Bethune-Cookman.
Kicker-Diego Marquez
Ranked number 10 in the class of 2016, Miami was an interesting choice for Marquez was Badgley firmly entrenched as the kicker for the Hurricanes. He began his college career at California Lutheran before transferring to Crafton Hills College and then Miami. He has not recorded any stats as Hurricane.
This Senior class will go down as the one who restored Miami football to its place among the nation’s elite. The showed the way to the younger players how to win.

This season has been one that has brought the excitement back to Miami Hurricanes football. Mark Richt and his staff have been fortunate enough to have a Senior class full of leaders.
