Miami Hurricanes need to eliminate slow starts
Miami has broken off more runs for ten or more yards in the second half but less 20 plus yard runs. The Hurricanes have 34 second-half runs of ten plus yards with just 24 in the first half. Strangely enough, the Hurricanes have 11 runs of 20 or more yards in the first half with just nine in the second.
The next two games will be only the fourth game away from home this year and a defacto home game for Clemson in the ACC Championship game. Getting off to a good start will be key for the Hurricanes to come out and take the crowd out of the game.
Should they be fortunate enough to make the playoffs, they are also likely to face a stadium(s) full of opposing fans. Mark Richt and his coaching staff are going to have to instill in their roster to come out with purpose and focus.

They have been able to salvage games against lesser teams by coming up with big plays in key situations. If they can get off to a good start on the road like they did in the home wins over Virgina Tech and Notre Dame, the Hurricanes will continue to win.
