None of the above three have been Rosier’s go-to receivers this season. Braxton Berrios leads Miami with 40 receptions for 513 yards and eight touchdowns. Tight end Christopher Herndon IV is fourth with 37 receptions for 436 yards and four touchdowns. That doesn’t include Lawerence Cager who had a touchdown against Virginia last week.

Pittsburgh has the worst pass defense in the ACC by virtually any measure. They are last in touchdown passes allowed, yards per game and yards per attempt. The Panthers allow 260.3 yards per game, 8.1 yards per attempt and 22 touchdowns.

Like most of the Hurricanes team, the Miami running game has been much better in the second halves of games this season. Overall the Miami Hurricanes average 176.7 rushing yards per game. That’s sixth in the ACC. Their 5.3 yards per carry is third in the conference.

Pittsburgh’s run defense is in the middle of the pack in the ACC. They rank eighth in the conference allowing 151.3 yards per game on the ground.

Special teams could have an impact. Miami and Pittsburgh are the two worst teams in the ACC covering punts. The Hurricanes allow 15.7 yards per return, Pittsburgh 15.9. The deceiving thing with the Hurricanes is that they have allowed an ACC low 12 punt returns this season.
