You cannot erase that fact. Rosier has accounted for 30 total touchdowns and provided the dubious dagger that severed Florida State’s streak. Rosier is 11-1 as a starter. It is not always pretty but he gives you the best opportunity to win this season. That won’t change.

Richt will just have to sit idly by and hope that a repeat performance of Pittsburgh is not up to his ace’s sleeves. Hopefully, when Rosier hits the mound in essentially its upcoming playoff match-up vs Clemson, Rosier gets his groove back.

Maybe Richt will have better answers the next time a Defensive Coordinator sells out to stop the run. The roll the pocket double move by Braxton Berrios was a nice wrinkle Mark. Even as inaccurate as Rosier was, it’s hard to miss someone open by 30 yards.

One thing I will promise you, in a copycat type environment such as college football, it is only a matter of time before someone “borrows” Narduzzi’s game plan. Hopefully next time the Canes have better answers. Hopefully next time Rosier won’t miss.

Next: Miami Hurricanes able to keep perspective after loss to Pittsburgh

In order to keep this magical season alive, Richt and company will need to find answers in the run game fast. And if the Clemson decides to dare Rosier to beat them? Then hopefully Richt can settle down his signal caller and call the game of his life.
