TALLAHASSEE, FL – OCTOBER 7: Wide receiver Darrell Langham /

Rosier’s 25 to 11 touchdown to interception rate was stellar. Kaaya had 27 to seven last season. He had only one touchdown on the ground though and lost 136 yards when sacks are included in his rushing total. With the options Miami had at quarterback or could have had, Rosier was the best quarterback for this year’s team.

Biggest Clutch Plays-Darrell Langham

Darrell Langham gets special mention for his clutch receptions against Florida State and Georgia Tech. Without those plays, the Hurricanes likely lose…or at least against Florida State go to overtime. It’s hard to award a player as the biggest clutch player on the team for two plays over a whole season.

With the seven-game losing streak very much in doubt, Miami had 11 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter and trailing the Seminoles by three. They had a chance for one shot at the end-zone or the get the ball in closer for a chance for Michael Badgley to attempt to tie the game and send it to overtime.

Rosier took a shot down the right sideline. Langham timed the ball perfectly against Florida State star cornerback Travarus McFadden and Miami took the lead with six seconds remaining. Miami would end the seven-game losing streak to Florida State.
