After opening the season against LSU at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on September 2, the Miami Hurricanes will play four of their next five games at Hard Rock Stadium. UM ends the season with four of the last six on the road.

Football Bowl Championship Division Savannah State will be the Miami Hurricanes home opener on September 8. Miami travels to Toledo a week later before returning home for the following three weeks.

Florida International, North Carolina and Florida State will be the Hurricanes opponents to open the home portion of the schedule. The game against the Tar Heels comes on a Thursday night. That gives the Hurricanes only five days to prepare for UNC, but nine to prepare for the Seminoles.

After the early season schedule mostly at home, Miami will play four of the next five games on the road after playing Florida State. Miami returns home for the season finale against Pittsburgh on November 24.

The Miami Hurricanes will play at Virginia October 13 before having a bye week October 20. That follows with a Friday night game October 26 at Boston College. The game against the Eagles is Miami’s second ACC Crossover game in 2018 after Florida State.

Miami returns home to face Duke on November 3 before going back on the road. Miami plays at Georgia Tech on November 10 and Virginia Tech November 17. UM then returns home for the final game of the regular season against Pittsburgh.

  • Miami was able to avenge its four 2016 losses this past season. They will only have one chance in the regular season to avenge one of its 2017 losses. The season finale against Pittsburgh at Hard Rock Stadium will be one of the games the fans point to on the schedule after the Panthers ended Miami’s dream of an undefeated 2017 regular season at Heinz Field in the season finale.

The Hurricanes could get another chance to play Clemson if they can repeat in the ACC Coastal. Miami and Virginia Tech are likely to be the favorites once again. Miami’s schedule seems more challenging than Virginia Tech. The Hokies will finish the regular season with four of their last five games at Lane Stadium.

After playing four games in ABC primetime last season including the ACC Championship game at the Orange Bowl, the Hurricanes will open the season on ABC against LSU. Florida State and Virginia Tech also have the potential for ABC Primetime games this season.
