Despite Boston College’s below .500 record in the ACC they present a good challenge for the Miami Hurricanes. Defending the three will be essential. Not so coincidently Miami’s three worst performances of the season defending the three came in losses to Clemson, Duke and Florida State.

Next game: Miami hosts Virginia Tuesday night in what could be the Hurricanes biggest game of the season. The Cavaliers host Virginia Tech on Saturday with a 15 game winning streak. They have not lost since December 5 at West Virginia. It’s their only loss in a 23-1 season. The will be televised by ESPN at 9 PM ET.

The Cavaliers will likely come to Miami as the Nation’s top-ranked team. It will be the first time Virginia is the nation’s top-ranked team since 1983 during the Ralph Sampson era.
