After reportedly being pursued by Florida State to return to his alma mater as the wide receiver coach, Ron Dugans remains with the Miami Hurricanes in that position. The former Cincinnati Bengal has an exceptional group of receivers to work with at Miami over the next few years.

The Miami Hurricanes enter 2018 with one of the deepest wide receiver cores in the country. Ahmmon Richards hopes to bounce back from an injury-riddled Sophomore season.

Jeff Thomas and Mike Harley will look to contribute more in their second seasons. Miami brings in an exceptional Freshmen group of wide receivers that might be the best group in the 2018 recruiting class.

Dugans has done an excellent job in his first two seasons on Mark Richt’s Miami Hurricanes coaching staff. Richards set the all-time Miami record for receiving yardage as a Freshman in 2016. He led all Freshman nationally in receiving yardage and yards per catch that season.

With Richards dealing with injuries throughout the 2017 season, Braxton Berrios stepped up as a Senior to lead the Miami Hurricanes in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns. It was by far Berrios’ best collegiate season.
