North Carolina has had a up and down season. They started the season 12-2. The Tar Heels then lost two in a row before going on a four-game winning streak. That was followed by a three-game losing streak and finally wins in the last six games. UNC is off until they host Miami on Tuesday.

North Carolina is led by forward Luke Maye and guard Joel Berry. Maye is fourth in the ACC in scoring at 18 PPG and Berry is fifth at 17.7 points per game. Maye is also second in the ACC in rebounding at 10.2 per game. Duke’s Marvin Badgley leads the conference in both scoring and rebounding. Maye also leads North Carolina in three-point shooting at 46.7 percent.

Converse to the loss at Boston College, Miami’s win at Virginia Tech earlier this month was one of the biggest of the season. An early 11-0 run gave the Hurricanes the lead in Blacksburg. They expanded it to 16 just before halftime.
