Among those to watch are rising Sophomore Kai-Leon Herbert at tackle, Gaynor at center or guard, true Freshman Delone Scaife at guard or tackle and redshirt Freshman Zalon’tae Hillery at tackle.

With the talent that the last two recruiting classes have produced upfront Richt expects the Freshmen and Sophomore classes to contribute up front. He told Rose:

"“They’re athletic and talented…maybe not 100 percent game-ready but that’s why we’ve got spring and summer and fall practices.”"

Richt also praised the play of the Freshmen on the line that have been enrolled since January and contributing and the Sophomores.

"“They’re actually doing pretty good,”…They probably don’t think so right now, because so many things are going [on] and their heads are spinning. We’re going at veteran’s pace. They show signs of athleticism. When they get contact, they have strong hands. … They’ve got the length of the arms you want, the athleticism that you want."

It’s ok if the Freshmen and Sophomores are not there yet, The spring is more about getting the team up to speed on what is going to be expected this fall.

It’s to experiment and work with new positions and concepts offensively and defensively. Richt likes what he sees so far from his Freshmen and Sophomores upfront.
