"“Jahair’s my dude…We’ve been cool since we first got here and it’s really nice to play with someone that you’ve been with the whole time, especially now that he’s older. He’s a senior like me and we’ve been together for years and we both communicate very well. It’s going well [for him], I like it. I like him at left guard.”"

The chemistry that the St. Louis and Jones will have is vital. The left side of the line has to be exceptional protecting the quarterback’s blind side. The offensive line has been a point of emphasis for Mark Richt in the last two recruiting classes. He has been impressed this Spring with 2018 Freshmen Delone Scaife and John Campbell.

"“The two offensive line does have a lot of newcomers or first-year guys, mid-year guys like [John] Campbell and DJ Scaife and they’re actually doing pretty good… They probably don’t think so right now because there are so many things that are going in and their heads are spinning a little bit because we’re going at veteran’s pace. They show signs of athleticism. They show signs when they make contact that they have strong hands and can get movement which you’ve got to get in the run game. Obviously you’ve got to be a good athlete if you’re pulling or hitting or trying to pass protect. They have the length of the arms that you want, the athleticism that you want."
