According to ESPN’s Football Power Index, the Miami Hurricanes are favored to win every game next season. The Hurricanes are one of only a handful of teams that will be favored in every game.

The schedule for the Miami Hurricanes starts with a neutral site game at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas against LSU. Miami is given a 65.7 percent chance to defeat the Tigers by the FPI. LSU finished 9-4 in 2017.

Miami is expected to cruise through the next four games until they host Florida State on October 6. The Hurricanes are given a 68.3 percent chance to beat the Seminoles.

After hosting Florida State, the Hurricanes begin a stretch of four games on the road in five weeks. Miami is a prohibitive favorite at Virginia before traveling to Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts to play Boston College Friday, October 26. The FPI projects the Hurricanes having a 62.5 percent chance to defeat the Eagles.

After hosting Duke to begin November the FPI expects Miami’s two toughest games. The Hurricanes play at Georgia Tech and Virginia Tech back to back in key ACC Coastal Division games. The game against the Hokies is likely to determine who wins the division title.

The Hurricanes are projected with a 57.1 percent chance to defeat the Yellow Jackets and 54.5 percent chance over the Hokies. They finish the season at home against Pittsburgh Thanksgiving weekend. Miami has an 89.5 percent chance to win against the Panthers. We all know how that turned out last season.
