The Miami Hurricanes face three 2018 NCAA Tournament teams twice during the 2019 season in ACC Play. Two of their five conference home games and three ACC road games are against 2018 NCAA Tournament teams.

Miami will play in-state rival Florida State, North Carolina Virginia Tech and Wake Forest twice. The Miami Hurricanes will host Clemson, Georgia Tech, Notre Dame, North Carolina State and Pittsburgh.

They travel to Boston College, Louisville, Duke, Virginia and Syracuse. It’s a very difficult schedule. Louisville and Syracuse should both be improved over last season.

The Hurricanes play the more challenging part of their schedule on the road compared to the teams that only come travel to Coral Gables. Only Clemson and NC State made the tournament of the teams Miami hosts at the Watsco Center.

The Wolfpack was ousted in the first round by Seton Hall. Clemson lost to Kansas in the Midwest Regional Final after wins over WAC Champion New Mexico State and SEC Regular Season Champion Auburn. They defeated Auburn 84-53 in the second round.

Duke and Syracuse both advanced to the Sweet 17. The Blue Devils knocked the Orange out of the NCAA Tournament in the other Midwest Regional Semifinal game. The Blue Devils were also eliminated by the Jayhawks.

Virginia suffered as a historic loss in the first round of the tournament to UMBC. They were the first number one seed to ever lose in the NCAA Tournament first round.
