Miami Hurricanes have difficult 2019 ACC Opponents
Notre Dame, Louisville and Boston College all played in the NIT. The Eagles lost in the first round at Western Kentucky. Louisville was eliminated in the quarterfinals at home against Mississippi State. Notre Dame lost in the second round in South Bend to Penn State.
Duke has the nation’s top-ranked recruiting class coming in next season. The Blue Devils signed the nation’s top three players in the class of 2018. That’s the first time that’s ever happened. Not even Michigan’s Fab Five or any of the great Kentucky classes can make that claim.

Boston College faces the potential of losing their star backcourt of Jerome Robinson and Ky Bowman to the NBA Draft. Both players have declared but have not signed with an agent. Miami is facing the same issue with Dewan Huell.
Syracuse returns the majority of their team, North Carolina loses Joel Berry and Theo Pinson and Virginia brings back four of its five starters. Several ACC teams are coming off one of the best seasons in their school’s histories.
Louisville and Pittsburgh will start next season with new coaches. The Cardinals hired former Xavier Coach Chris Mack and the Panthers Duke Associate Head Coach and former Oklahoma and VCU Head Coach Jeff Capel.
As always the ACC will be stacked and treacherous. Nine ACC teams participated in the NCAA Tournament. Four made the Sweet 16 and UVA who has won three of the last five regular-season titles wasn’t one of them.
